Film Camp Pty Ltd was established in 2004 by independent producer Philippa Campey and consistently produces highly regarded and innovative documentaries, animations, television programs, shorts and feature films.

Film Camp produced the animation Clara, written and directed by Van Sowerwine, that was awarded a Special Mention by the Palme d'Or Jury at Cannes 2005, the Gold Hugo at Chicago Film Festival 2005, and screened in competition at Sundance in 2006.

Currently Film Camp is in production and post-production on several documentaries, while developing a slate of new documentaries, feature films and an animation series.

The Fibros and the Silvertails is Paul Oliver's AWGIE award winning account of the feud between two football teams that turned into a war about class and corruption. Iraq, My Country

After 14 years in exile, an Iraqi-Australian filmmaker returns to Samawa to record the changes in his home town following the collapse of Saddam Hussein's regime.

Using the extensive archival recordings of this once model town, filmmaker Phil Burke re-visits his home town of Yallourn and explores some of the issues which led to its destruction.

Words from the City

A feature-length documentary exploring the Australian hip hop scene through intimate observations of some of the nation's most progressive and compelling artists, including the Hilltop Hoods, Downsyde, Koolism, Bliss n Eso, MC Trey, TZU and Wire. Galore

Galore is set in the suburban outskirts of Canberra, Australia's isolated capital city. In the summer before their final year of high school, a group of reckless teenagers come face to face with the immense, adult world of love, loss and betrayal. Written and directed by Rhys Graham.

Detachable

9-year-old Amy, her 7-year-old brother Billy and their dog Sniffy have detachable and swappable limbs and heads. They use these special powers to invent games and play tricks on each other, but with these powers come unforseen unintentional consequences. Written and directed by Van Sowerwine. Animated by Isobel Knowles.

Bloodstream

A multi-formatted artwork (television documentary, multi- media live theatrical production, DVD and website), Bloodstream is inspired by the parallel histories of Ngarrindjeri woman and renowned musician Ruby Hunter and the Murray River. Produced by the Australian Art Orchestra.
